Keith made an excellent presentation about the geography of Elk Island, the animals and the metis and indigenous perspective and experience prior to taking us on a hike in Elk Island National Park. His presentation allowed us to better understand the hike. We got so much more out of the hike than if we had done it alone. He put the kids at ease and they peppered him with questions throughout the hike. He did a great job of presenting an indigenous approach before during and after the hike. His tour really added many layers to the hike. I very much recommend that you hike with him. It will change your perspective and make you. appreciate the hike much more. The bison on the path was the cherry on the Sunday.
